VENTNOR – The North Beach Residents Association presented its first-ever college scholarship Saturday, June 16 at its eighth annual Meet & Greet event held at Uncle Gino’s restaurant, which is located at 5000 Boardwalk. The scholarship paid tribute to Stockton University’s soon-to-open Atlantic City campus.

A check for $2,000 was presented to Julian Monslave, a North Beach resident and Atlantic City High School graduate who will attend Stockton in the fall where he will major in criminal justice.

In addition to his outstanding academic career, Monslave was an athletic standout playing football, lacrosse, wrestling and rowing crew during all four years at ACHS.

Monslave said he would focus on academics and may play intramural sports at Stockton.
