ATLANTIC CITY – The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority will be providing free entertainment on the Atlantic City Boardwalk July, August and September at Kennedy Plaza across from Boardwalk Hall. Atlantic City visitors will be treated to performances from genres including Broadway, Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues and everything in between.

Broadway on the Boardwalk is back by popular demand 8-9:30 p.m. Monday nights July 9, 16 and 23. The casts of Broadway’s hottest musicals take the stage for free performances from some of the most popular and critically acclaimed musicals on Broadway today including “Wicked,” “Beautiful – The Carole King Musical,” “Sponge Bob Square Pants – The Broadway Musical,” “School of Rock,” “Anastasia,” “Summer – The Donna Summer Musical” and more. Produced by JudiLudiProductions, the series will be hosted by comedian Dena Blizzard and is sure to light up the night.

Tony Marts Presents Mardi Gras AC every Wednesday night through Sept. 5. Music aficionados will be treated to weekly concerts by the million selling classic rock star, Gary US Bonds and the Roadhouse Rockers and a special July 4 Jersey Rock Tribute starring Bruce Springsteen’s original E Street Band drummer Vini “Mad Dog” Lopez with Jersey Rock & Soul Phenom, Billy Walton and his band.

Weekends will be alive with three-day music, food and fun events at the Boardwalk Summer Concert Series beginning Friday, July 6 through Sunday, Sept. 16. A wide variety of entertainment will appeal to music lovers of all genres. In addition to free musical entertainment Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, refreshments will be available for purchase and will reflect themed weekends including an all American BBQ, Caribbean Music Festival, Retro 70’s and 80’s, Reggae, Country, Rat Pack, International, Latin and Rock & Roll.
