GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP – AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s Roger B. Hansen Center for Childbirth will hold a Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Ceremony noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct.13 at the gazebo at Patriot Lake Park, 300 E. Jimmie Leeds Road.
The ceremony, which marks National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Month, is open to anyone who has experienced a perinatal loss. A light lunch and children’s activities will be held in the Atlantic County Library/Galloway Branch Community Room after the ceremony.
ARMC offers a perinatal loss support group for parents who have experienced miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth or newborn death. The group meets 7-9 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month in Suite 602 of the AtlantiCare Health Park, 2500 English Creek Ave., Building 600, in Egg Harbor Township. The support group is free and open to the community.
