MARGATE – The Holtzman Gallery has mounted “Collage of Artists: A Hispanic Heritage Month Exhibition,” featuring local and regional artists and a display of color and form through Oct. 15 at the Milton and Betty Katz JCC, 501 N. Jerome Ave. A special reception will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3. The reception features speakers Bert Lopez, who will highlight issues affecting the Hispanic population, and Stockton University Dean of Students Pedro Santana.

The exhibition features original paintings and mixed media by Costa Rican painter Joe Sebourn and mixed media artist Juan Gomez, Columbian inventor and invisible ink artist Alberto Becerra, Puerto Rican painters Marco Morales of Egg Harbor Township and Tania Pomales of Vineland and graphite artist Roberto Gomez of Philadelphia, among others.

The event is free and open to the public. Light fare and wine will be served.

The gallery is located in the lobby of the JCC. The exhibit can be viewed daily during the JCC’s regular hours of operation.
