MARGATE – The Milton and Betty Katz JCC 501 N. Jerome Ave. will present a free Hall of Fame Basketball Clinic with Coach Bob Hurley 4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14 in the gymnasium.
Hurley is the longtime coach of the former St. Anthony High School in Jersey City, where he amassed 26 state championships and more than 1000 wins during his 39 years of coaching. Hurley’s mentorship sent 150 players to Division I basketball programs, all on full scholarships.
The Basketball Hall of Fame is set to bring Coach Bob Hurley to the JCC to present a free basketball clinic to basketball players in grades 5-12.
The clinic is in advance of the Air Force Reserve Boardwalk Classic presented by Citi at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15. Set to feature some of the best teams in the nation, the Boardwalk Classic features four 2018 tournament teams in Davidson, Iona, NC State and Virginia Tech, as well as strong teams in Temple, Princeton, Penn St., and Washington.
