MAYS LANDING – Atlantic Cape Community College is hosting the following events during the month of January:

Free Nursing and Health Careers Information Session 5:30- p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8 in Room C3 of the Mays Landing Campus. This session includes a tour of the state-of-the-art simulation lab and covers topics including steps to enrollment, an overview of Nursing/Allied Health programs and preparing for entry exams. Basic Knife Skills 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 26 in Kitchen 1 of the M Building on the Mays Landing Campus. Ever wonder how those TV chefs chop so quickly and evenly? In this class, students will learn the techniques used by the professionals. Hold a knife correctly and master the basic cuts. Learn chopping, dicing and a few secrets. This is a hands-on class. Faculty Selects Art Show Closing Reception, 5-6:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 31, in The Spangler Library of the Mays Landing Campus. This exhibit will feature Atlantic Cape student work, which will be juried and awards will be given. The art pieces will include drawings, paintings, mixed media, sculptures, and more.
