Ginger O’Neill

VENTNOR – Downbeach real estate broker Ginger O’Neill of Coldwell Banker Argus Real Estate will be featured in a primetime episode of HGTV’s “Island Life” series. The premise of the show is to find the perfect home for a buyer looking to enjoy life at the beach.

O’Neill said it is the second time she has been the featured real estate agent in the series. The first show titled, “Absecon Island,” was broadcast last winter.

This latest episode, “Funnel Cakes and Ferris Wheels,” will be broadcast 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13 and 1:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14 on the HGTV channel.

O’Neill said her buyer, a woman in her late 40s with two children off to college, previewed several properties in Ventnor, including a condominium, semi-detached and single family home.

“She approached the search with an open mind. I guess you’ll have to see the episode to see what she purchased,” O’Neill said.

The woman was looking to downsize, but she has two dogs. She also likes to run on the boardwalk and enjoys water sports, O’Neill said.

“It was always her dream to live on the island,” she said.

O’Neill, who is one of the top real estate agents in the area with 31 years of experience selling shore homes, was awarded for selling more than $10 million worth of real estate last year.
