Mayor Beth Holtzman and Commissioners Lance Landgraf and Tim Kriebel are offering Ventnor high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to apply for a $1,000 college scholarship.
The Louis Bay Future 2nd Municipal Leader Scholarship is a statewide college scholarship available through the New Jersey League of Municipalities. The scholarship centers on the theme “What My Municipal Government Does Best” and the ability of government leaders to plan for the community and preserve the community’s way of life.
Juniors and seniors living in Ventnor may apply by completing the application posted on the city’s website, ventnor city.org, and returning it to Mayor Beth Holtzman at City Hall, 6201 Atlantic Ave. by the deadline on March 11.
