EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — Members of Volunteers in Medicine of South Jersey will host a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at their newest Thrift Shop, located at 6825 Tilton Road in the Produce Junction Plaza. The public is invited to attend the event 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26. Light refreshments will be served.

To help support the thrift shop, VIM is accepting donations of gently used clothing and home goods. Donations can be brought to the Thrift Shop 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Tax receipts will be provided for donations.

In connection with the ribbon-cutting and kicking-off its “12 Months of Joy” program, Fresh Start Church of Egg Harbor Township has partnered with VIM for the month of January. Church members are encouraged to donate, shop and visit on Saturday to support the grand opening.

VIM is a volunteer-based organization that runs free clinics in Atlantic and Cape May Counties for the uninsured and underserved, providing quality health care and preventative medical services in a caring environment. Support from individuals, families, local organizations and others in the community is vital to VIM’s success.
