MAYS LANDING – New Jersey Cultural Alliance for Response and the Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts is offering a disaster preparedness workshop 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, in the meeting room at the Atlantic County Library, Mays Landing branch, 40 Farragut Ave.

The workshop provides cultural organizations with the opportunity to learn how to be proactive and ready in the event of a disaster, and introduces the Pocket Response Plan and its use as an institutional planning tool. The workshop will also include staff training information and a group tabletop exercise.

There is a $15 fee to attend. A continental breakfast is included. The workshop is limited to 25 participants and registration is required.
