ATLANTIC CITY – Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner will join partner agencies for a National Crime Victims’ Rights Week Forum 6-8:30 p.m., Monday April 8 at Second Baptist Church 110 Rev. Dr. I.S. Cole Plaza.

The program will provide an open forum for local law enforcement officials to speak directly to the community about their continued efforts to have open lines of communication and foster a positive relationship with their residents.

ACPO Victim Witness Coordinator Raymond Royster will moderate the forum which includes the following panelists:

  • Atlantic City Police Chief Henry White Jr.
  • Pleasantville Police Chief Sean Riggin
  • Galloway Township Police Chief Donna A. Higbee
  • Victims of Crime Compensation Office Executive Director Louise T. Lester
  • Hon. James Jackson , J.S.C. (Ret.)

The panelists will each have an opportunity speak about their respective agencies’ community engagement and law enforcement efforts. A question and answer period will follow if time permits.

National Crime Victims’ Rights Week will be commemorated April 7–13 with the theme: Honoring Our Past. Creating Hope for the Future. The week celebrates the progress made toward a future of crime victim services that is inclusive, accessible and trauma-informed.
