VENTNOR – Children and their parents turned out in droves Saturday, April 20 to celebrate the Easter holiday at Funny Bunny Day held at Ventnor Plaza shopping center.
Miss Southern Shore Jessica Indio of Hammonton and Miss North Jersey Teen Shelby Ritterson of Mantua greeted guests. The Easter Bunny milled around taking pictures and entertaining the children.
The event included a petting zoo where children were able to meet farm animals up close and personal, face painting, balloon art, music and lots of fun and games. Some lucky participants walked away with gift cards to the stores in Ventnor Plaza, with the grand prize of a $150 Acme gift card.
The event is organized every year by Wally Korzeniewski and it is sponsored by the folks at Ventnor Plaza shopping center.
The next community event at Ventnor Plaza is the Halloween Extravaganza planned for Oct. 12.
