ATLANTIC CITY – The third annual Atlantic City Food Truck Festival returns to Brighton Park at Park Place for a third year the weekend of June 8-9.

Presented by 609 Event Productions, the two-day festival showcases culinary delights from across the tri-state area and draws more than 15,000 food lovers.

The hours are noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 8 and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 9.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka Pop-up Bar joins 20 food truck vendors for both days.

“The Atlantic City Food Truck Festival is one of the city’s largest outdoor summer food festivals,” said BJ Hamilton, owner of 609 Event Productions. “After this long, cold winter we are excited to bring an outdoor celebration to this scenic oceanfront park.”

The free event draws a mix of locals and tourists looking for a foodie adventure and highlights a diverse mobile food scene that has emerged in recent years.

Offerings include pulled pork, French fries, burgers, and ice cream sundaes, along with empanadas, tacos, Italian rice balls, sushi rolls and cannoli. Unique items such as the “Spudwich” fried cheese curds and classic barbecue and seafood ensure there is something for everyone. A complete list of food trucks can be found on the official event website, www.acfoodtruckfest.com.

Live music will be offered all weekend long on the park stage, including some of the area’s top local bands. For the 21 and over crowd there will be a beer, wine and spirts garden and game area, as well as several smaller satellite bars located throughout the festival grounds.
