Get five free tree seedlings March 30 at Estell Manor Park.
MARGATE – Sustainable Margate, the city’s green team, will be giving away free potted tree saplings 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 11 in the parking lot at the Bloom Pavilion behind the Margate Public Library.
The trees are native species, and include Eastern red cedars, red maples and bayberry shrubs.
The seedlings are provided as part of the New Jersey Tree Recovery Campaign to help communities replace trees damaged or destroyed by Superstorm Sandy.
