VENTNOR – Three juveniles were arrested Saturday May 11 for the alleged theft of a vehicle from the beach-block of Dudley Avenue.

According to a release from Ventnor Police Capt. Joe Fussner, all three juveniles, aged 15 and 16, were residents of Atlantic City.

At 10:28 p.m., a resident contacted Ventnor Police reporting his vehicle, a 2015 Ford Fusion, was stolen from the area of the Dudley Avenue beach block. The vehicle had been parked unlocked with the keys inside the vehicle.

The vehicle description was then provided to surrounding police departments, and at 11:45 p.m., Pleasantville Police Department located and stopped the stolen vehicle on the Black Horse Pike. Three male juveniles were placed into custody by Pleasantville Police. Further investigation determined that an additional vehicle was burglarized on the South-block of Dudley Avenue, but nothing was taken out of that vehicle.

Officer Mark Suprun of the Ventnor Police Department charged the two 15-year-old males and the 16-year-old male with theft of a motor vehicle, burglary and conspiracy.

All three were released into the custody of their respective parents pending hearings in Atlantic County Family Court.
