One Funny Mother, comedian Dena Blizzard emcees Broadway on the Boardwalk Monday nights through summer.

ATLANTIC CITY – Free performances from the stars of Broadway hits, such as “Wicked,” “The Cher Show,” “Beautiful – The Carole King Musical,” “Hadestown” and more will be offered on the Atlantic City Boardwalk 8 p.m. Monday nights from July 8 to Aug. 26. The one-hour shows will be held at Kennedy Plaza (on the Boardwalk between Mississippi and Georgia avenues).

Produced by JudiLudi Productions in partnership with the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, the public can enjoy free live performances from the current casts of Broadway’s hottest musicals.

The series is hosted by comedian Dena Blizzard and will feature songs from 16 Broadway shows with more to be announced soon.

“Broadway on the Boardwalk has been a great success for Atlantic City,”  CRDA Director of Marketing and Communications Larry Sieg said. “We are happy to be appealing to a larger audience of visitors this summer and expanding the shows to eight Mondays through July and August.”

The show schedule is as follows, with more shows to be added soon (subject to change):

  • July 8: Chicago, Waitress, Oklahoma, Be More Chill
    July 15: Rock of Ages
    July 22: Hadestown, Tootsie, King Kong, Beetlejuice
    July 29: Beautiful-The Carole King Musical, Hamiltunes (An American Singalong)
    Aug. 5: Wicked
    Aug. 12: The Cher Show
    Aug. 19: Shows To Be Announced
    Aug. 26: Mean Girls, The Apple Boys
    Date TBA: Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of the Temptations
