Michaela Sless received a $1,000 scholarship from the Margate Education Association.
MARGATE – The Margate Education Association has awarded two $1,000 college scholarships to graduating high school seniors who attended the Margate K-8 public schools.
Mackenzie Smith received the award and is headed off to the Wharton School of Business where she will study business.
Mackenzie Smith will use her scholarship to attend Wharton School of Business.
Michaela Sless received the award and is headed off to the University of Deleware where she will study biology.
MEA President Sherry Scott presented the awards at the June 12 Board of Education meeting.
