MARGATE – Jon Baker and a group of artists are teaming up to use their brush strokes to benefit the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation. Guests will enjoy music, snacks and a collection of art that is anything but ordinary. This year’s newest artist, Jill Snyder will display handmade mosaic art pieces using all glass materials.

Also new to the event is 21-year-old Sydney Steel, founder of The Cash Monet, LLC. A New Jersey native and Syracuse University student, Steele has gained recognition as a young artist and entrepreneur, selling her unique collection of artwork online.

Mural artist Sue Daly, whose work is displayed in many of Atlantic City’s casinos including the hand-painted skies in the Quarter at Tropicana Atlantic City, will be on hand to display her artwork, including custom mosaic surfboards created by her and her daughter Paige Daly.

Eleven-year-old phenom Noah Hurley Baker will be showing original pieces that are likely to give his father, local artist Jon Baker a run for his money. Last year the younger Baker sold the most artwork at the annual event, which raised more than $2,000 for the cancer foundation.

Jon Baker’s locally inspired paintings have become a staple in the homes along the Jersey Shore. Baker’s renderings of Lucy The Elephant and surf scenes have an iconic style that in the eyes of many collectors embodies the essence of Absecon Island.

Baker is an ardent supporter of the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation and is often a top fundraiser for the organization’s annual Paddle For A Cause. Through the sale of his artwork combined with other donations, Baker raised more than $9,000 for the event held last month.

Art for a Cause will be held on the sidewalk outside of Heritage Surf and Sport which will be open for business during the event.
