MARGATE – The Margate Historical Society and Museum will present a program on the history of the Anglers Club and Pier, 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 at Historic City Hall, 1 S. Washington Ave.

The free program will review the past, present and future of the nearly 100-year-old pier and the people who maintain it.

Anglers Club President Jeff Rutizer will share the club’s history, effects of storms, and activities being undertaken to ensure the pier lasts for another 100 years.

The museum is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
