It is not your typical 5 &10 store, but it does have items you remember from years ago, plus all of the latest toys and beach apparel. Hoy’s 5 &10 has always been the “store” for shopping at the Jersey Shore for everything you need for the beach, but it offers so much more.
With locations in Avalon, Stone Harbor and two in Ocean City, each store is customized to its clientele, which means Hoy’s offers Stone Harbor souvenirs in Stone Harbor and Ocean City souvenirs in Ocean City.

The stores also offer everything you need to stock up on when you’re in town visiting – from everything for the beach, including sand toys, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach chairs, towels and suntan lotions, to kitchen supplies, household art and beach-themed items and holiday themed decorations.
The store is also a draw for kids and teens, with toys, jewelry and clothes with them in mind all at Hoy’s signature low prices.
Hoy’s also has a large selection of footwear and hats – something for everyone.

There is always new merchandise arriving daily, which makes it the “fun place to shop” because you never know what you will find. Hoy’s makes it a point to stock up on all the latest toys and always has the traditional favorites in stock.
“We like to keep our beach supplies and apparel stocked up for the season so that people can easily find what they need in every size,” owner David Hoy said.
Hoy’s 5 &10 is located at 34th Street and West Avenue in Ocean City; 732 Asbury Ave. in Ocean City; 219 96th St. in Stone Harbor; and 2800 Dune Dr. in Avalon.
