Green teams across New Jersey were invited to participate in the Sustainable Jersey green team video project. Green teams were asked to create their own short videos for the “Decade of Impact: Green Team Video Contest.”

The contest celebrates Sustainable Jersey’s 10th anniversary and shows progress made over the last 10 years on sustainability goals by individuals, communities and local governments.

Seven videos showing the passionate work of local green teams were selected for judging by the public. Now it’s time to vote for your favorite video online at the Sustainable Jersey website.

The green team with the winning video will be recognized at the 2019 Sustainable Jersey annual luncheon being held Wednesday, Nov. 19 during the NJ League of Municipalities Conference in Atlantic City.

The green team with the winning video will win a $1,000 prize and two runners up will received $500.

Click here to cast your ballot. Voting is open through 11:59 p.m., Oct. 24.

Another program celebrating Sustainable Jersey’s decade of progress is the “PlanetCivic” online platform where green team members and municipal partners can participate in visioning sessions that provide feedback on critical issues facing sustainability in New Jersey over the next 10 years.

To participate in the online discussion visit www.planetcivic.com/town-initiative.
