MARGATE – The interfaith group, MOSAIC will hold a Thanksgiving Interfaith Service, 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25 at Beth El Synagogue, 500 N. Jerome Ave.

The community is invited to give thanks with fellowship and non-denominational prayer, preaching and singing. Congregations, clergy and choirs represented will include Beth El Synagogue, Shirat Hayam, Beth Israel, St. James Church, Margate Community Church, Asbury United Methodist Church, New Hope Baptist Church, Our Lady Star of the Sea Church and others. Refreshments will be served.

There is no cost to attend, but those who do are asked to bring a canned or non-perishable food item for the local food pantry.

MOSAIC, Absecon Island’s clergy fellowship, is a community of sacred partners who work to break down barriers and demystify spiritual and cultural differences through shared dialogue, experiences and acceptance.
