Students Matthew Sheridan designed Longport’s 2019 regular beach tag and Mary Kate Casey designed the senior tag.

LONGPORT – Children ages 12 and younger are invited to participate in the borough’s Beach Badge design contest. Children can design one of two seasonal badges, regular and senior, that will be sold during the 2020 summer season.

Two winners will be selected from entries received by the Feb. 17, 2020 deadline.

Designs should be 4×4 inches and limited to two or three colors. Young artists should consider the small size of the beach badge when creating their design.

There’s more about the contest and an entry form located on the Longport website, longport-nj.us.

Submit entries to Beach Badge Design Contest, 2305 Atlantic Ave., Longport, NJ 08403 or via email to the Borough Clerk’s office at clerk@longp9ort-nj.us.

The winners will be recognized at a future Board of Commissioners meeting.
