BRIGANTINE – The Marine Mammal Stranding Center, which rescues marine mammals, such as harbor seals and sea turtles in distress, and rehabilitates them before releasing them into the ocean, will hold its annual “Ales for Whales” fundraiser 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23 at the Garden State Beer Company, 247 E. White Horse Pike in Galloway Township.
The event includes craft beers and food donated by more than 20 local eateries, including Ventura’s Offshore Café, Vagabond Kitchen & Tap House and Carluccio’s Coal Fired Pizza among others.
The event also includes the auction of gift baskets and gift certificates.
Tickets are $40 until Jan. 9, $50 afterward or at the door.
