Love is in the air at Lucy the Elephant, Feb. 14.

MARGATE – There’s romance in the air as Lucy the Elephant plans “Sweetheart’s Dinner,” an evening for lovers and friends inside the iconic structure. After a 10 year absence, Lucy the Elephant will host a four-course gourmet experience with two seatings on Valentines Day, Feb. 14.

Award-winning Chef Jason Tell will prepare an aphrodisiac-inspired culinary extravaganza with seatings at 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The menu features a choice of five appetizers, four salads, seven entrees, six side dishes and four desserts.

Harpist Stephanie Sussmeir will provide the romantic notes to enhance the atmosphere inside the world’s largest elephant. Couples will receive a complimentary champagne toast and are invited to bring their own libations. Table-side photos will be available. Each lady will receive a complimentary long stem red rose and each gentleman will receive a complimentary bag of peanuts. After all, it is Lucy the Elephant.

Seating is limited to 20 couples at a cost of $450 per couple, including gratuity, with a portion of the cost being a tax deductible contribution to the Save Lucy Committee.

Reservations can be made and meal choices made at lucytheelephant.org or by calling 609-823-6473.
