MARGATE – The Milton & Betty Katz Jewish Community Center has announced its lineup for its Summer 2020 Entertainment Series.

First up 7 p.m. Thursday, July 9 is recording artist Maureen McGovern, whose career includes Broadway and the Oscar-winning song, The Morning After. McGovern will take the audience on a nostalgic journey through the Great American Songbook, pop, jazz and other great American classics.

Then, at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 23 Viva Pavarotti, starring Stanislas Vitort, Vladyslay Gorgi and Yevgeny Shapovalov present some of Pavarotti’s pop songs that brought his voice to the masses, including hits from The Three Tenors, and Pavarotti and Friends, which included Liza Minnelli, Stevie Wonder and Bono.

Another highlight of the summer series is a performance by soul and R&B recording artists, The 5th Dimension 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6. One of America’s most celebrated vocal groups, they will perform their top hits, including Up, Up and Away, Wedding Bell Blues, One Less Bell To Answer and the iconic Aquarius/Let The Sun Shine In.

Closing out the season is Broadway at the Movies with Broadway Stars 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20. Tony Award nominee Josh Young and his wife Emily Padgett will take you on a musical journey featuring songs from fan favorites such as The Wizard of Oz, West Side Story, Les Miserables, Jesus Christ Superstar and many more.
