The Art-Wine-Dine event will raise money for hospitality scholarships.

ATLANTIC CITY – The Greater Atlantic City Concierge Association and the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority will award scholarships for education in the hospitality industry.

The scholarships acknowledge and reward academically successful students who have chosen a field of study related to the culinary, hospitality and tourism industry. These awards are specifically designed to acknowledge students that excel in academic life in the field of hospitality, and who have demonstrated the unique ability to reach out to others through personal initiatives.

The scholarships are available to students from Stockton University, Atlantic Cape Community College and Fairleigh Dickinson University, majoring in tourism, hospitality and culinary fields and will be awarded  at the annual Atlantic City Host Awards on May 6.

Applications are available at  www.atlanticcityscholarships.org. The deadline to apply is March 6.

A volunteer committee of members from the Greater Atlantic City Concierge Association and the CRDA will select the award recipients using a point system for compliance. Members of the selection committee and their family members are ineligible for scholarships. Payment of the scholarships will go directly to the attending colleges for the purpose of tuition and tuition-related expenses for the student recipients.

The scholarship program is raising scholarship funds through the upcoming Art-Wine-Dine event being held 5 p.m. Feb. 12 in the lobby of Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall to kick of the CRDA’s annual Atlantic City Restaurant Week. Complimentary parking for ticket holders will be available at the Boardwalk Hall Parking Garage.

The event will feature a silent auction, wines, craft beers and spirits to taste, and entertainment.

Tickets are available online at Eventbrite.
