ATLANTIC CITY — Tickets are now on sale for South Jersey’s premier food and
beverage event. The 37th annual Atlantic Cape Community College Restaurant Gala will be held Thursday, April 16 in the Avalon Ballroom at Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center.

The annual event celebrates food by highlighting hors d’oeuvres prepared by
students in the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape and showcasing the specialties of 40 of the region’s best restaurants during a progressive dining experience.

The event closes with an elegant dessert extravaganza offering a wide variety of sweet treats from local pastry chefs.

This year’s event will recognize the contributions of Community Honorees, Stephen
and Dianne Nehmad (’72 & ’70) and celebrate the accomplishments of the Academy of Culinary Arts Honoree, Chef Bill McGinnity (’85).

Each year, nearly 1,000 food enthusiasts attend the gala and have the opportunity
to sample wine, beer and spirits from local wineries, breweries and distilleries in addition to live music from the Dirty Dozen Dance Band.

More than 900 guests attended last year’s sold out event, which raised $234,475 for student scholarships at the Academy of Culinary Arts and Atlantic Cape Foundation operations..Since its inception, the Atlantic Cape Restaurant Gala has raised more than $3.5 million  through the generous support of our community partners and
