The NJ Youth Corps share the bounty.

The Atlantic County government’s “Feed the Dream to Fight Hunger” food drive held at government offices throughout the county Jan. 17-31 to honor the memory and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. garnered 1,600 pounds  of food and toiletry items that were donated to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey Southern Branch.

In the photo above, students from the New Jersey Youth Corps posed with some of the items they collected.

The New Jersey Youth Corps is the county’s out-of-school youth program that is located at the Atlantic County One Stop Career Center in Pleasantville. The One Stop Career Center was one of several collection sites during the two-week event.
