LONGPORT – Due to the ongoing spread of the coronavirus, COVID-19, the Longport PBA Local 363 will be postponing the Social Luncheon scheduled for March 18 at Church of the Epiphany’s Totaro Hall.
According to a post on the Longport Police Department’s Facebook page, the PBA, which was sponsoring the event, indicated it would be irresponsible to put people at risk for a non-vital reason.
“We look forward to holding the event in the near future and hope you will join us when we do,” PBA President Quinton Wright said.
Police advised the public to take the necessary precautions recommended by the CDC and WHO to help slow the spread of the virus.
