MARGATE – The Board of School Estimate will hold its annual meeting as previously scheduled, 5 p.m. Monday, March 23. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will be held via telecommunications.

The Board of School Estimate is comprised of the three Margate commissioners and two school board members. The purpose of the meeting is to approve school district funding for the 2020-2021 school year.

Members of the public will be unable to attend in person, but they can attend remotely. Log onto the school district website – www.margateschools.org – and look for the link to the meeting documents on the homepage. The agenda, a PowerPoint presentation and advertised budget numbers are posted there.
