Murphy Writing offering daily writing prompts through April.

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP – Nearly 100 people tuned in to the first Virtual Reading hosted by Murphy Writing at Stockton University in March.

Another virtual reading is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, April 3, featuring Stockton professor Emari DiGiorgio, Judith Lindbergh and Paul Lisicky. It will be livestreamed via Zoom and also available by phone at 929-436-2866 and enter meeting ID: 949 675 360.

The free Murphy Write-In, an online writing community, is also offering daily writing prompts, spaces to share and dedicated Write Times participants can join via Zoom.

Write Times are currently scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 1 and noon on Friday April 3. So far as many as 40 people have joined the online sessions.

”We are a very supportive writing community,” said Peter Murphy, founder of Murphy writing. “We are pleased the community has embraced our online programs to share their thoughts and stay connected.”
