Longport’s 2020 beach tags were designed Emma Franzosa, who designed the seasonal tag and Michael DiGiovanni who designed the senior tag.

LONGPORT – After a delay in receiving beach tags from its vendor, Longport beach tags have been delivered and will be sold starting Friday the Longport Community Building, 33rd & Atlantic avenues.

Beach tags will be sold noon to 4 p.m. Friday, May 22; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 23-24; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Memorial Day, May 25; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 26.

Pre-season prices for seasonal badges are $15 for those over age 12, and $5 for seniors until June 19. After June 19, prices increase to $30 for seasonal tags and $10 for senior tags.

Beach tags can also be pre-ordered by downloading an order form from the borough website, longportnj.gov, and sending it to Borough Hall, 2305 Atlantic Ave. Tags can then be picked up at the Community Building.

Active military and veterans are free with proper identification, but they must be purchased in person at the Community Building.

Patrons are asked to adhere to social distancing recommendations and wear a face covering when purchasing their badges.
