MARGATE – The city will open its tennis and basketball courts, and the Jerome Avenue ballfield Friday, May 29 and pickleball courts on Monday, June 1, according the Margate Recreation Department.

Reservations for the tennis courts will be required as of Friday, June 5.

Pickleball courts will open 8 a.m. Monday, but reservations are required. Reservations will be accepted starting 7:30 a.m. Monday.

All pickleball players are required to sanitize their own equipment before entering the court, and provide their own marked ball. Players are encouraged to wear suggested safety equipment and use and remove their own water bottles.

Playgrounds will remain closed.
