Margate FMBA Local 41 presented its annual O’Hara-McCormick Memorial Scholarships at the Board of Commissioners meeting Thursday, June 18. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the scholarships will be mailed to the nine local high school graduates, who each received $500 to use for college.

The scholarships were awarded based on the students’ hard work and dedication to their school and community.

O’Hara-McCormick scholars are:

Jaden Millstein – Ocean City High School, who will be attending Vassar College

Molly Reardon – Ocean City High School, who will be attending Salisbury University

Theodore Grimley – Ocean City High School, who will be attending New Jersey Institute Technology

Morgan Pizagno – Ocean City High School, who will be attending Florida Atlantic University

Alexandra Fader – Atlantic City High School, who will be attending University of Pennsylvania

Claudia Scherbin – Ocean City High School, who will be attending Clemson University

Chase Davis – St Augustine Prep, who will be attending St. Joeseph University

Mara Lachance-Beck – Mainland Regional High School, who will be attending University of Massachusetts

Connor Culmone – Atlantic City High School, who will be attending Villanova University
