Four more deaths have been attributed to complications from COVID-19,according to Atlantic County public health officials. Three  were residents of long-term care facilities. Today’s fatalities included a 55-year-old Atlantic City man, an 80-year-old Galloway Township man, an 86-year-old Hammonton woman, and a 96-year-old Northfield woman.

County health officials also reported 27 more residents who have tested positive for COVID-19 among 17 men, ages 22-88, and 10 women, ages 22-53. Additionally, 15 more residents have been cleared as recovered.

Eleven of today’s positives were found in Hammonton, six in Pleasantville and two each in Egg Harbor and Hamilton townships. Absecon, Atlantic City, Egg Harbor City, Mullica Township, Northfield and Somers Point each had one new positive.

To date, Atlantic County has confirmed 2,822 residents who have tested positive for COVID-19 with 195 deaths and 1,388 recovered.
