No additional deaths from COVID-19 were reported today by Atlantic County health officials, and 10 more residents were cleared as recovered for a countywide total of 1,398.

The number of residents who have tested positive for the disease now stands at 2,841 with the addition of 19 confirmed today, including four males, ages 33-77, and 15 females, ages 2 months-77.

Today’s positives were found as follows: three each in Atlantic City, Galloway Township and Hammonton; two each in Buena Borough, Egg Harbor Township and Pleasantville; and one each in Absecon, Egg Harbor City, and Hamilton and Weymouth townships.

Atlantic County will continue to provide COVID-19 testing by appointment for symptomatic county residents with a doctor’s prescription 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, June 30 in Northfield behind the county’s public works yard at Route 9 (New Road) and Dolphin Avenue.
