While several areas of the country are experiencing spikes in COVID-19 cases, Atlantic County health officials reported no new deaths for the third day this week and only 12 new positives among five men, ages 21-72 and seven women, ages 18-68.

Today’s positives were found as follows: two each in Egg Harbor City and Egg Harbor Township, and one each in Atlantic City, Brigantine, Buena Borough, Galloway Township, Hammonton, Linwood, Pleasantville and Weymouth.

Atlantic County has confirmed 2,853 cases of COVID-19 to date with 195 deaths and 1,398 residents cleared as recovered.

Atlantic County will continue to provide Covid-19 testing by appointment for symptomatic county residents with a doctor’s prescription 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, June 30 in Northfield behind the county’s public works yard at Route 9 (New Road) and Dolphin Avenue. Appointments can be made online atwww.aclink.org.
