An additional 34 residents have been cleared as recovered from COVID-19 for a countywide total of 1,505, more than half of the 2,953 residents who have tested positive to date, according to the Atlantic County Division of Public Health.

County health officials also announced 15 more positives among six males, ages 25-67, and nine females, ages 14-47, but no new deaths. The total number of fatalities related to COVID-19 stands at 205.

The latest cases were confirmed as follows: five in Atlantic City, four in Hammonton, and three each in Egg Harbor Township and Pleasantville.

Atlantic County will continue to provide COVID-19 testing by appointment for symptomatic county residents with a doctor’s prescription 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7 in Northfield behind the county’s public works yard at Route 9 (New Road) and Dolphin Avenue. Appointments can be made online at www.aclink.org.
