Two Hammonton men, a 67-year-old and an 84-year-old, have died from complications of COVID-19, bringing the countywide total to 241 fatalities, according to county health officials.

They also reported 18 new positives among eight males, ages 3-56, and 10 females, ages 7-73.

Three of today’s confirmations were found in Pleasantville; two each were found in Absecon, Egg Harbor and Galloway townships, Somers Point and Ventnor; and one each was found in Atlantic City, Estell Manor, Hamilton Township, Hammonton and Margate.

A total of 3,557 county residents have tested positive for COVID-19 with 1,944 having been cleared as recovered.

Atlantic County will continue to provide COVID-19 testing at its drive-thru facility in Northfield at Rt. 9 and Dolphin Avenue, behind the county public works yard, 9-11:30 a.m. each Tuesday in August.

The test site is available for both symptomatic and asymptomatic county residents with or without a doctor’s prescription. Residents must make an appointment for testing and provide proof of county residency and appointment confirmation.

Appointments can be made online at www.aclink.org. Those who are unable to keep their appointments are asked to cancel no less than 24 hours in advance so others may have an opportunity to fill those spots.

A list of additional testing locations in Atlantic County is available at: https://www.atlantic-county.org/covid/additional-testing-locations.asp
