National Aviation Research and Technology Park, Egg Harbor Township.

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – The National Aviation Research and Technology Park  can now claim to be home to one of the fastest growing privately held companies in America with the announcement that one of its tenants has been named as number 94 on Inc. 5000’s 2020 annual ranking of the country’s most inspiring entrepreneurs with the most proven track records.

The tenant, Thunderbolt Software, was founded in 2016 and has experienced a 3,608 percent growth in just three years under the leadership of Andrew Winkler. It was one of the the aviation park’s original occupants when the park opened in 2019.

The park is located adjacent to the Atlantic City International Airport and the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center, the anchors of a developing aviation innovation hub. Atlantic County has targeted aviation as one of several industries identified in a strategic plan to diversify the regional economy. The Atlantic County Economic Alliance, a private-public, non-profit agency, serves as the lead agency for its implementation.

“Our congratulations to the Thunderbolt Software team,” ACEA President Lauren H. Moore Jr. said. “They are a wonderful example of the quality of tenants we are attracting to the park and our aviation innovation hub.”

Thunderbolt Software provides software and systems engineering services, unmanned systems development, and operations and logistics services.

“The ACEA has been a great partner and the NARTP has been critical to our exceptional growth. We are looking forward to continued success,” said Winkler.
