Workers volunteer to distribute food.
The eighth food distribution for Atlantic City residents and laid-off casino workers will be held starting at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 at Bader Field. Distribution will be drive-up only and on a first-come, first-served basis.
The food distribution is being offered in partnership with state and local government, casino industry, UNITE Here Local 54, AFL-CIO, private donors and the Community FoodBank of New Jersey Southern Branch. Volunteers will help distribute the food to unemployed hospitality industry workers and Atlantic City residents.
