Workers volunteer to distribute food.
ATLANTIC CITY – The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority and Community FoodBank of NJ Southern Branch will hold their ninth emergency food distribution beginning 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 17 at Bader Field on Rt. 40/322.
The agencies have partnered with local government, the casino industry and union representatives to coordinate food distribution to unemployed hospitality industry workers and Atlantic City residents.
The food distribution will be drive-up only and on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is required at the FoodBank website, http://cfbnj.org.
