Historic City Hall in Margate is all dressed up for fall.

MARGATE – The Department of Public Works has assisted the Margate Business Association in preparing for Fall Fun in Margate this weekend. Pumpkins, bales of hay, and lots of mumms and scarecrows have been placed around town, especially in the business districts where merchants will be offering fall fun activities, sales and entertainment.

Here’s a list of activities from the Margate Business Association. Hope you can join the fun and even win a prize.

Pumpkin Decorating Contest: Don’t forget to decorate your pumpkin, photograph it and submit to info@margatehasmore.com. Entries must be submitted by noon on Saturday, Sept. 26. Top three winners will be announced Saturday and each will receive a prize.

Business Decorating and Pumpkin Contest: Photograph yourself with a pumpkin or decorations in front of your favorite Margate business. Participants will send the picture to info@margatehasmore.com by 9 p.m. Saturday. A winner will be randomly selected to receive a prize.

The Pet Salon Pics With Pets: A professional photographer from PhotoGraphics Photography will be at The Pet Salon on Franklin Ave. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 26 to take a photo of your furry family member. For a $20 donation you will go to the designated website to receive your free digital download of your pet with a Kwanza, Hanukah, Christmas or plain portrait background. While on the website you can order your pet’s, picture printed on holiday cards, mug, mouse pads and more (fee applies). Pet pictures will be selected to be included in the Margate City calendar.

Receipts Are All The Rage: Customers take a picture of their receipt for any purchase made at any Margate business Sept. 25-27 and send it to info@margatehasmore.com by 9 p.m. Three winners will be randomly selected to receive a gift certificate from that store.

The Great Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt: The MBA Team will go around town placing plastic pumpkins outside of businesses. Each pumpkin will have a prize tag inside of it. The person who finds that pumpkin must bring the pumpkin tag to the business to redeem the prize.

Music: Musician Toni Teschire will be at Heritage Surf and Sport 11a.m. to 3 p.m. performing easy listening music with pop and rock cover. Vocalist Teddi Fusco will be performing at Bocca Coal Fired Bistro at 1 p.m.

Strolling Characters: Meet Darth Vader, Paw Patrol Fireman, Trolls, Minons, Princess Poppy and Captain America on Ventnor Avenue 11 a.m.  to 2 p.m.

Congo Falls Margate: Open for family fun mini-golf. Hours are 5-10:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25; 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26; and 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27.
