Atlantic City Regional Stand Down – Mobile

The American Legion will hold an Atlantic City Regional Stand Down – Mobile event for the homeless and at risk veterans in Atlantic City and Pleasantville during the month of October.

The Pleasantville Stand Down will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9 at the Max Manning Complex, 1100 Lincoln Ave.

The Atlantic City event will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28 at St. Michael’s Church parking low, 9 N. Georgia Ave.

Information will be provided on services available to veterans including VA medical, mental health, benefits, claims, housing, employment, products and other services.

Clothing will be distributed for men and women and lunch will be provided.

The event is being sponsored by the  Veterans Administration, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, VFW, Dept. of Military and Veterans Affairs, American Red Cross, Camden Catholic Charities and the NJ Casino Control Commission.
