The Atlantic County Health Department Sunday announced 92 new COVID-19 cases in 50 males, ages 10 months to 80 years, and 42 females, ages 11 months to 87 years. No deaths were reported following two deaths reported on Oct. 15 and one death on Oct. 16.

There were 27 cases reported in Egg Harbor Township; 14 in Atlantic City; 11 in Pleasantville; eight in Galloway Township; seven in Absecon; five in Hamilton Township; four in Hammonton and Linwood; three in Egg Harbor City; two in Margate and Northfield; and one each in Brigantine, Buena Borough, Estell Manor, Somers Point and Ventnor.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic to 5,267, with 258 deaths and 3,059 reported as recovered from the disease.

Atlantic County continues to provide Covid-19 testing by appointment for county residents behind the county’s Public Works Yard at 617 Dolphin Ave. in Northfield. Testing will be available 9-11:30 a.m. each Tuesday through Oct. 27.
