MARGATE – Jewish Family Services of Atlantic and Cape May Counties is holding its annual Thanksgiving Food Collection through Friday, Nov. 13.

According to JFS, there has been an 80% increase in food pantry requests as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. You can help by providing meals for struggling families.

Donations of gift cards to area supermarkets are being accepted. Or you can fill a bag with non-perishable food items needed to make a family Thanksgiving meal. Bags can be dropped off outside the JFS building, 607 N. Jerome Ave.

In your food bag include the following items: mac & cheese, string beans, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, turkey gravy, stuffing, corn, yams, etc.

For more information, contact JFS 609-822-1108.
