Meeting announcement.

MARGATE – Following the increase in coronavirus infections in the Downbeach area, the Board of Commissioners has announced that all public meetings will be held virtually until further notice. Public participation is encouraged.

The decision was made to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health of the employees and the public, officials said.

The next Board of Commissioners meeting will be held 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17. Directions on how to access the meeting will be posted on the city’s website at margate-nj.com.

Other meetings of note are two information sessions regarding the planned Atlantic Avenue road diet. The meetings are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15 and 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16. Information on how to access the meetings will be posted on the city’s website.
