LONGPORT – The borough is offering young artists an opportunity to show their work to thousands of beachgoers next summer.

It’s time for the borough’s annual Beach Badge Design Contest. Two winning entries will be selected to be featured on Longport’s 2021 seasonal beach tags.

The contest is open to Longport children and grandchildren ages 5-10 years old.

The design should fit into the 4- by 4-inch square provided on the contest entry form that’s available on the borough’s website, longportnj.gov. Artists are encouraged to use two or three bright colors and include the word, “Longport” in the design.

The deadline for entries is Feb. 16, 2021.

Please submit entries to: Beach Badge Design Contest, 2305 Atlantic Avenue, Longport, New Jersey 08403 or via email to clerk@longport-nj.us.
