Atlantic County Health Department Wednesday, Jan. 7 reported the deaths of three individuals from COVID-19, including a 76-year-old Margate woman.

The two other deaths reported today include a 77-year-old Atlantic City man, and an 85-year-old Buena Vista Township woman.

The county also reported 180 new COVID-19 positives in 77 males, ages 3-95, and 103 females, ages 1-86, bringing the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic to 15,385, with 6,517 reported as recovered. In Atlantic County, 375 residents have died of the disease.

COVID-19 drive-thru testing will resume Tuesday, Jan. 12, by appointment only, at the county’s Public Works yard, 617 Dolphin Ave. in Northfield. Appointments can be made by calling 1-888-285-2684.
